We are excited to announce that the application process for the 2010-2011 Class ofAcumen Fund Fellows is now open!
Applications will be accepted online until 11:59pm EST on Thursday, November 5, 2009. Detailed information about the program and application process, as well as the bios of current and past fellows, can be found on our website. We are looking for dedicated individuals with the practical skills, the creativity, the empathy and the leadership potential to affect change by leveraging market-based solutions to create social impact. Acumen Fund Fellows are drawn from a pool of talented, passionate people from all geographies, sectors, backgrounds and ethnicities.
Since graduating its first class of Fellows in 2007, the Fellows Program has continued to grow and expand, using the experiences of each class to continue building a unique training curriculum specifically focused on leadership and social enterprises. Fellows Alumni have called the program a life-changing experience, and one that allowed them to build critical business skills and a better understanding of the challenges involved in serving low-income consumers around the world.
We are also excited to welcome our new Class of 2009-2010 Fellows to New York. Over the coming weeks the 2010 Fellows will be training and actively preparing to support Acumen Fund investments. The Fellows have committed to sharing their experiences both from New York and on the ground, so expect to see frequent posts from them on theAcumen Fund blog.

We at Faculty of Management studies, Banaras Hindu university, VARANASI(INDIA) are working on an UGC sponoseres project to study Social Entrepreneurship Development in India. The aim is to develop a model for Successful Social Entrepreneurship and at the same time to create awareness among management graduates to work for society also. We are interested with to network with other projects/activities related with social entrepreneurship going on in India, Views and opinions are welcomed.

Kindly refer to the cited above I am the singer and composer of the above songs. My group stage programming of the above songs is more than nine years by the cultural affairs Government of Maharashtra.I have got acceptance from the Mumbai University Vocational Department and Recommended by the Deputy Secretary Department of Cultural, Honorable Union Minister letter no. F-9-55/2001-ZCC, 3rdJuly 2001, Govt. of India for performing different states and different cities Recommended by the Hon. President, Govt. of India letter No. P1/D –48076 dated 24-Oct.2002.Recommended has been Hon broadcasting Minister. Govt.of India DO no.1770/VIP dated on 28thNov. 2003. Accepted this Music Project by the Secretary of Secondary &Higher Secondary School Education Govt. of Maharashtra dated on 26 July 2004 recommended by the Hon. Prime Minister of India to the DG Office All India Radio.
However, these songs are composed based on Indian folk and light classical (Indian).The themes are strongly reflected to the National and International crises. I think this Music
Project definitely will give a big contribution for Awareness, Education, World Integration and Friendship. I had worked as cultural awareness volunteers by the World Youth Intl. org. Aus. The placement was Nepal ( Katmandu ) for three months. Nepali students are very impress above music Project.

Everybody is Music lover of this world. We can very easy to reach to the one and all by Music, take our awareness comment. I am also a Music teacher looking at present all in the school of India learning before issue based songs. My Music project is based on current issues; it is very needful for every student’s whole world people.
Lets go we do try to make for a refined, beautiful, Peaceful world for coming generation if again return the ancient time it is very shame for us. I am the little power of the God. Just only try.
