Dear Thomas,

A good place to start might be SKS Microfinance or other MFIs in the region - Basix, SHARE, Bandhan, SEWA Bank, Adhikar, etc. I assume these would be good starting points, as most of these institutions have some experience with rural banking, and might give you the context required to conduct your work.

Best Regards,
Prerna

Dear Ed,

Thank you for your words of appreciation! We encourage you to read through some of our posts under the "Education" tag. You might be interested in learning more about LifeLines Education or Kanavu. There are many other Education related NGOs in India such as Pratham, which we recommend would be a good place to start for more specific information re: education ventures in India. Additionally, you could get in touch with Teach for India, as they would have a broader understanding of the education context in India.

Your work looks great. I have experience from setting up
Progreso.org.uk and would like to work with you.

I am coming to India to find social enterprise innovators to collaborate
with. I will be based in Kerala and was hoping you could tell me who I
should contact to collaborate on innovation for the common good?

I am very interested in visiting projects that are
trying to do good as I am working on setting up
websites for charities and not for profits and was
hoping to visit some in India. Do you know of any?

Either restaurants that give profits to good causes or
schools that encourage young people to make artwork.
